Think protein-rich snacks instead of hitting those carbs. There’s lots of great protein-rich snacks for sale in shops these days, but a simple snack of peanut butter spread on apple slices will do the job nicely, thanks very much.

Whether you’re making pizza from it or blitzing it in the processor to make ‘rice’ there’s no doubt that cauliflower is having its moment in the culinary sun. It’s really high in vitamin C, and is full of fibre, so it’s a great addition to your weekly menu.
