The brainchild of Philip Martin, and the winner of Best New Idea Award in the 2014 Best Young Entrepreneur competition, Blanco Nino looks set to be the first in Europe to produce traditional, authentic Mexican corn tortillas. Based in Tipperary, Blanco Nino are building an authentic corn tortilla factory, which will produce, according to them “beautiful, flavoursome and unadulterated corn tortillas, nacho chips and masa harina”. To do this they’re working with great, passionate and sustainability focused, non GM maize to growers.
