This winter Keelings invites you to cosy up and enjoy a ‘Keelings Healthy Movie Night’. Why not snuggle up on the couch with your loved ones or just take some me time away from it all, and tuck into some berry delicious treats while watching an old time movie favourite.

With reminders everywhere that the silly season is just around the corner, Keelings wants to help all ages, young & old, take some R&R with a healthy twist to keep those immune systems winter-ready for the cold months ahead.

Did you know delicious Keelings berries are:

  •       Berries are rich in soluble and insoluble fibre

So this winter keep healthy and happy, and enjoy this healthy snacking recipe from Keelings’ very own nutritionist Aveen Bannon.

Hot Berry Juice

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • One punnet of Keelings strawberries,
  • One punnet of Keelings blueberries
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 tsp of honey to taste

 Method

1.     Put the Keelings berries into a large thick-bottomed saucepan, cover over with water and simmer.     

2.     Stir in the lemon and honey and continue to simmer till the Keelings berries are soft.

3.     Mash the berries

4.     Sieve the juice mix into a large bowl. Now you have a berry concentrate that you can mix with 3-4parts Water. Tastes especially good heated on cold winter nights!
