A zingy take on a classic salad.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 white cabbage
  • 1 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp caster sugar
  • salt & pepper
  • Squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage and the carrots and finely slice the onion.
  2. Mix all together in a large salad bowl.
  3. In a small bowl whisk the mayonnaise, vinegar , sugar and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix the dressing with the other ingredients.
  5. Squeeze a drop of lemon juice through and serve as a side salad or with a baked potato
