Mini Eggs Rice Krispie Treats

Our delicious Mini Egg Krispie Treats are the ultimate Easter indulgence. They are also perfect for using up all that chocolate and a project for the kids to get involved with.

Ingredients

  • 100g butter
  • 100g mini marshmallows
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 120g rice krispies
  • 240g mini eggs, smashed
  • To top:
  • 300g milk chocolate
  • 160g mini eggs

Instructions

  1. On a medium heat, start by melting the butter, mini marshmallows and 100g milk chocolate in a pot, stirring occasionally and ensuring the mix doesn’t burn
  2. Once everything is melted add in rice krispies and 240g smashed mini eggs, fold through until evenly dispersed
  3. Press into a square 20cmx20cm tin or whatever tin, dish you have. Set in the fridge for 20-30 mins or until everything has hardened
  4. Melt 300g chocolate and pour over the rice krispie mixture. Spread chocolate so it evenly covers the mix
  5. Then cover in mini eggs.
  6. Allow chocolate to cool and harden
  7. Cut into even squares and enjoy!
