Tikka Masala Marinade

Whether you are barbequing or grilling under a conventional grill, this marinade will add the spices of India to meat or fish – a great all rounder

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 1 inch ginger, peeled and finely grated
  • 4 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 red chillies, de-seeded and chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Whizz all of the ingredients in a food processor until combined to a paste.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to use
  3. How To Use: Smear all over meat or fish and marinate for 4 hours or overnight if possible to allow the spices to infuse. If the meat is a large joint, cut slashes across it to allow the spices easy access.
