Ultimate Mashed Potato

No Christmas dinner is complete without smooth, creamy & rich mashed potato.

Ingredients

  • 2kg fluffy potatoes
  • 100ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into similar sized pieces.
  2. Place the potatoes in a large sauce pan and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  3. Drain using a colander.
  4. In the same saucepan add butter and milk and gently warm. Turn off the heat. Return the potatoes to the saucepan and using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste
