This month Flahavan’s and Keelings, two much-loved Irish family brands, have come together for National Porridge Week (Monday 10th – Sunday 16th October) to celebrate nutritious breakfasts and to inspire families to share a breakfast moment together.
From deskfasts to grab-and-go breakfasts, research continues to show that families are spending less time at the table for key eating occasions especially breakfast so Flahavan’s and Keelings have come together to entice people to take the time to ‘Share a breakfast moment’.
Starting the day together as a family, around the table with a large delicious, wholesome bowl of porridge in the centre, accompanied by an assortment of colourful and tasty blueberries, juicy raspberries and sweet strawberries is the perfect foundation for your family’s day ahead.

To encourage the Share a Breakfast Moment Flahavan’s and Keelings are offering an exciting 50c discount coupon on each others brands in retail stores nationwide. Consumers who purchase Keelings products (specifically berries – Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries) during the month of October will get a 50c coupon off the purchase of a Flahavan’s product and vice versa.
The Share a Breakfast Moment campaign is also being supported with a nationwide primary schools initiative to educate children on the importance of a healthy start to the day. The Brekkie Bus is back in action again this year and will be visiting a number of primary schools and serving up delicious porridge and fruit combinations.
