This week, Ryan Tubridy was on hand to help launch Tiglin’s Outreach Bus, the No Buck’s Cafe. The bus aims to make life a little easier for people experiencing homelessness, offering food and blankets and providing a safe space for them to come and share their stories. They wnt to introduce and make people aware of services available to them in their vicinity, including centres similar to the Tiglin Challenge rehabiliatation centres. Based in Ashford, Co. Wicklow, Tiglin has two centres, one for males and one for females, which provide general support to the homeless, and specifically “life beyond addiction”. They are currently trying to mobilise enough volunteers to have the bus out every night of the week, providing food, shelter and support to those people who need a helping hand.
