Mayday, Mayday. Cleaning Tip Alert. You know in The Breakup the way Jennifer Aniston sends Vince Vaughn out to buy 30 lemons so she can fill up a vase with them and make a nice centre-piece for her table? We had anxiety about that. We wondered what would happen to those lemons. We were pretty sure they wouldn’t end up in a lemon drizzle cake, and we were fairly positive she wouldn’t be using her lemons to freshen her microwave, like we do. Yes. We clean our microwave with half a lemon in a bowl of water. Just put it on high for 2-3 minutes and wipe with kitchen towel afterwards. Zingy, fresh and best of all, chemical free.
