The Foodservice Channel Insights Report by Bord Bia, released yesterday shows that we Irish love our fast food. When it comes to spending our money on eating out, a third of our money goes on takeaways, high quality casual dining and food-t0-go options. What will we be seeing in the coming year? Consumers have a growing need for share plates, small plates and snacking options, showing that we are moving from a nation of fine diners to a country who loves to share food over a drink or two.
