On Monday, 9th March, Ouzos Restaurant in Blackrock will be managed by a whole host of celebrities for what promises to be a very entertaining evening in aid of Make A Wish.
Stars from the world of TV, radio, sport, comedy and music will come together to serve and entertain 150 diners to help us grant wishes to children battling life-threatening illnesses.
Celebrities confirmed include Gerald Kean, Brent Pope, Linda Martin, Leah Egan, Jenny Dickson, Alan Short, Cathy Kelly, Eileen Dunne, David McWilliams, Tom Doorley, Mary Mitchell O’Connor, Marty Whelan, Shane Byrne and Gillian Nelis to name but a few and they will work in a variety of roles, from cooking in the kitchen to serving the food and drink to the customers.
Owner of Ouzos Padraic Hanley is delighted that so many celebrities are signing up to support this unique event: “It’s great to see so many Irish stars making time to help such a worthwhile cause as Make-A-Wish. People are already asking us about the ticket arrangements and we expect them to fly out the door now that they’re on sale! We’d urge anyone who can to come along and enjoy what should be a fantastic night.”
In addition, we will have a fantastic prize up for grabs; the lucky winner’s prize will include return flights for 2 to Malta from Dublin and 4 night’s accommodation at the luxurious five star Fortina Spa Resort.
Tickets for Ouzo’s Irish Stars night range in prices; €75 for seafood platters and canapés or €150 for a four course meal. All tickets include a champagne reception.
