Right, we like to think that as parents we are all up at the crack of dawn, grating and sieving and hiding veggies in millions of amazing homecooked and delicious meals that our little monsters will hoover up at dinner time. The reality can be vastly different. As working Mums, the I Love Cooking team knows all too well that this fantasy can’t be achieved every day, especially when our fussy babas only want to eat beige food. Don’t blame them, it’s delicious. Anyway. When our freezer stocks of cornflake chicken nuggets dry up, and we need to feed the beasts as quickly and as nutritionally as possible, we head to our local craft butcher to pick up some chicken goujons from Rosie & Jim. These tasty morsels are made using quality assured chicken and not much else. Why do we choose them? Simples. It’s good food, made by an Irish company, that isn’t filled with additives. If your kids are on a beige food kick, check these guys out – they are fantastic.
