Enjoy a slice of Italy at Sheen Falls this November. Join Chef Lorenzo Polegri (Umbria, Italy) along with local Chocolatier Benoit Lorge and Wine Connoisseur Alain Bras for a weekend of culinary treats and tasting experiences at Sheen Falls Lodge. On Friday evening Chef Lorenzo will invite guests to a “Taste of Umbria”. Guests will sample some Italian truffles and Olive Oil (made from the olives on Lorenzo’s farm) and wine unique to that area. Following breakfast on Saturday morning, join Chef Lorenzo for an Italian Cookery Demonstration. Work with him in creating some classic dishes such as ciabatta, pasta and tiramisu. Lunch will be served using the items created in the morning demonstration. Over tea & coffee local Chocolatier Benoit Lorge will introduce guests to the art of chocolate making. On Saturday evening, guests will meet for Prosecco and canapés, followed by a 5 Course Italian themed dinner. Wine Connoisseur Alain Bras will be on hand to discuss the wines chosen for dinner that evening. Guests depart on Sunday after breakfast with a signed copy of Lorenzo’s cookbook, and hopefully all the skills needed to create an Italian feast at home.
