Mixed Berry Tree Pies

These Keelings Mixed Berry Tree Pies must be sprinkled with Christmas cheer. Kids and adults alike will be filled with the Christmas spirit as they snack on these fruit filled treats & they’re sure to be a hit at any Christmas party!
Ingredients:
- 450 g mixed Keelings berries.
- 75 g plus 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar, divided.
- 2 tbsp cornstarch.
- 375 g Puff Pastry Ready-Rolled (separate into two rolls).
- 1 tbsp milk, 2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon and 1 large egg.
Method:
- Mash the berries and drain the juices into a bowl. Place drained berries into a large mixing bowl.
- Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
- Stir in 75g granulated sugar and cornstarch with the berries. Unroll one dough and using a knife cut tree shapes. Pour the berries mixture into the centre. Beat egg with milk and brush mixture to the border of the trees.
- Unroll the second dough and cut tree shapes. Gently roll the shapes on top and use a knife to create steam vents in centre of trees. Crimp the edges and combine 2 Tbsp of sugar with cinnamon.
- Brush trees with remaining egg wash and dust with the sugar/cinnamon. Bake for 30 mins. Serve and enjoy!
