How To Cover A Cake With Marzipan
- 500g Marzipan will cover a 20cm fruitcake.
- Sprinkle some icing sugar onto your surface.
- Knead marzipan until soft and pliable.
- Roll out onto your surface.
- Keep moving the marzipan so it avoids sticking.
- Brush cake with a warm jam of your choice.
- Place marzipan on the cake and smooth out any bumps with your hands.
- Slowly work your way down the sides with your hands.
- Trim away any excess.
