Image Interiors & Living and Trail Kilkenny will host an Artisan Dinner

If a delectable dining experience in one of Ireland’s Michelin-starred restaurants is not enough to spark your interest, imagine also being surrounded by notable Irish craftsmen showcasing their artistry. Image Interiors & Living and Trail Kilkenny are joining forces to create just that for an intimate evening filled with delicious food and beautiful crafts.

On Thursday June 25th, Image Interiors & Living and Trail Kilkenny will host the Artisan Dinner at the stylish Campagne, located under the old railway arches on Gas House Lane in Kilkenny. Guests will have the opportunity to meet some premier Irish designer makers and mingle with members of the Interiors & Living team – all while indulging in a six-course tasting menu at one of Ireland’s finest restaurants.

Campagne will act as the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated and mouth-watering evening. Located under the old railway arches on Gas House Lane, Campagne boasts a stylish interior, featuring modern paintings by artist Catherine Barron. The restaurant has been honoured with many prestigious awards on both a national and international level, most notably one Michelin star status in September 2013 and most recently Best Restaurant in Leinster at 2015 Irish Restaurant Awards.

The tasting menu, prepared by Michelin star Chef Garrett Byrne, will pair seasonal local produce with an assortment of craft and fine wines. Courses will feature serving pieces made by the who’s who of Irish craft names. Guests will begin their meal with starters on Nicholas Mosse’s new Lawn range and finish with chocolates presented on Andrew Ludick’s unique ceramic vessels, with several courses in between featuring stunning Irish craft pieces. The table setting will include glassware by Jerpoint Glass, butter dishes by Castle Arch Pottery, willow breadbaskets by Heike Kahle, and water jugs by The Bridge Pottery.

 Guests should also look out for stunning handmade jewellery pieces by Kilkenny jeweller Rudolf Heltzel, Cushendale throws, and textured candles by Moth to a Flame. The Artisan Dinner is sure to provide guests with an engaging and multi-sensory experience. If guests wish to extend their evening, the Newpark Hotel is offering a complimentary upgrade to a superior room for €55 per person sharing with breakfast for one night.
