Avonmore Festive Coffees

Everybody loves a festive coffee at this time of year, and our friends at Avonmore have shared some of their most scrumptious versions with us. Got a favourite you want to share? Tweet us at @ilovecookingire

 

The Baileys Coffee

What You Need:

  • 1 measure of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Freshly brewed black coffee
  • Avonmore Baileys Whipped Cream

How To Make It:
Warm an Irish coffee or a medium sized wine glass with hot water. Discard the water and put the sugar & baileys into the glass. Add the coffee and stir well with a teaspoon to dissolve the sugar. Carefully spoon the Avonmore Baileys Whipped Cream on to the top of the coffee. The cream should float on top of the coffee so do not attempt to stir.

The Calypso

What You Need:

  • 1 measure of Tia Maria Liqueur
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Freshly brewed black coffee
  • Avonmore Whipped Cream

How To Make It:
Warm an Irish coffee or a medium sized wine glass with hot water. Discard the water and put the sugar & Tia Maria into the glass. Add the coffee and stir well with a teaspoon to dissolve the sugar. Carefully spoon the Avonmore whipped cream on to the top of the coffee. The cream should float on top of the coffee so do not attempt to stir.

The French

  • 1 measure of Grand Marnier Liqueur
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Freshly brewed black coffee
  • Avonmore Whipped Cream

 

How To Make It:
Warm an Irish coffee or a medium sized wine glass with hot water. Discard the water and put the sugar & Grand Marnier into the glass. Add the coffee and stir well with a teaspoon to dissolve the sugar. Carefully spoon the Avonmore whipped cream on to the top of the coffee. The cream should float on top of the coffee so do not attempt to stir.

 

The Irish

  • 1 measure of Irish whiskey
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • Freshly brewed black coffee
  • Avonmore Whipped Cream

 

How You Make It:
Warm an Irish coffee or a medium sized wine glass with hot water. Discard the water and put the sugar & whiskey into the glass. Add the coffee and stir well with a teaspoon to dissolve the sugar. Carefully spoon the whipped cream on to the top of the coffee. The cream should float on top of the coffee so do not attempt to stir.

The Kilkenny

  • 1 measure of Ballylarkin Irish Liqueur
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Freshly brewed black coffee
  • Avonmore Whipped Cream

 

How You Make It:
Warm an Irish coffee or a medium sized wine glass with hot water. Discard the water and put the sugar & Ballylarkin into the glass. Add the coffee and stir well with a teaspoon to dissolve the sugar. Carefully spoon the Avonmore whipped cream on to the top of the coffee. The cream should float on top of the coffee so do not attempt to stir.
