Great Irish Bake

Fri Mar 27 2015

Temple Street’s Great Irish Bake,  supported by Tesco, takes place on April 17th. So set your timer… ready, steady… bake!

Temple Street Children’s Hospital is looking for families, businesses and schools to dust off their aprons on April 17th and host a cake sale as part of its Great Irish Bake campaign which is proudly supported by Tesco this year.

From laid back coffee mornings in your own house to office bake sales and fancy tea parties, there are endless ways for bakers to get involved and raise much needed funds.

All proceeds raised from the Great Irish Bake will go towards the construction of a new Neurology and Renal Outpatients Unit. Paediatric Neurology and Kidney Dialysis & Transplantation are two of the hospital’s major specialties and the expert care in these units is a life-line for more than 6,000 children each year. The outpatients’ clinics are currently run in cramped and outdated spaces so new facilities are urgently needed to treat these children in a proper environment. And what better way to do it than by baking up a storm!

All you need to do to take part in Temple Street’s Great Irish Bake is register at www.templestreet.ie and you’ll receive a fabulous fundraising pack with lots of baking hints and tips and balloons and posters. There are also lots of tasty recipes and items available to download at www.templestreet.ie ensuring you have the best bake sale ever.

Please help Temple Street bake it better for thousands of sick children and sign up today to host your own Great Irish Bake.
