LA to Bake Fest Galway

Baking up a storm from LA to Bake Fest Galway – International Chef Stuart O’Keeffe to launch Bake Fest Galway on Saturday 4^th and Sunday 5th of October on his visit to Ireland from Los Angeles.

Originally from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Stuart O’Keeffe an Irish celebrity chef, food writer and television personality is very excited about Bake Fest Galway 2014.

After completing a culinary degree in Arts at DIT, Cathal Brugha Street, Stuart relocated to Napa valley in Los Angeles to work in restaurants.  It was not long before Stuart became a household name working his way through large Hollywood events including the Oscars, The Kardashian’s and Sharon Stone to name a few.   Stuart has been recognised internationally for his cooking show ‘Stuart’s Kitchen’ on Food Network and Food Fighters on NBC.

Celebrity Chef Stuart O’Keeffe stated: “I am so excited to be flying home to launch BAKE FEST 2014 in Lesiureland, Galway.  As a Culinary Arts graduate of DIT majoring in pastry, I have had a love for baking throughout my career — from the rolling hills of Ireland, to the Hollywood Hills.  I have a feeling this year will be the best yet at BAKE FEST.  This is going to be the highlight of my trip coming back to Ireland!”

Irelands leading baking and cake decorating show, Bake Fest Galway is set to return to Leisureland, Galway on Saturday ‘4^th and Sunday ‘5th October. Stuart will be demonstrating in our Goodall’s Kitchen theatre on Sat the 4th of October from 12-1am and he will be MC for the live “Bake Off” between some of the Great Irish Bake Off contestants from 2014.

Bake Fest 2014 is a not for profit organisation and all proceeds will go to Irelands national meningitis support and awareness charity ACT for Meningitis.
