Seedy scones, spread with LOADS of Irish butter, please

As if we didn’t already know, but Kerrygold is the best butter in the world, ever. Today’s Irish Times reports that 350 million packets of Kerrygold were sold worldwide in 2013 AND it’s the best-selling butter in Germany, of all places. The best bit of all, is that because everyone loves our butter, the Irish Dairy Board has announced fifty new jobs in Co Cork as a result of these record sales. Well, if anything was going to make us whip up a batch of scones, it’s this. We’re off to whip u a batch of pumpkin seed scones – don’t forget to lash on the butter – it’s good for the economy.
