Salad Cream Is 100
Wed Jun 25 2014

We all remember the Irish salad. A slice of ham, a boiled egg, a few leaves of ice berg lettuce, a scallion, a few tomatoes and of course, a giant dollop of Heinz Salad Cream. Mayo’s sister product has long been a secret ingredient in Irish homes, from a dollop here, to pep up a potato salad, to a teaspoon there, to make Granny’s ‘famous’ salmon paté. It appears we’re not alone. Last year 40,409,760 bottles of salad cream were sold worldwide, 75% of those were Heinz. What do you think? Do you harbour a secret love affair with Salad Cream?
