A Taste Of Aldi
Wed Jun 11 2014

Aldi are showcasing its new 28 day dry aged Irish Angus steaks at the Taste of Dublin this weekend, at a specially created ’28 by Aldi’ restaurant and terrace. Steaks will be cooked to order by Michelin Star Chef Cormac Rowe, executive chef at Mount Juliet. Sounds good, right?! Following a starter of cod brandade, served with lemon aioli, cucumber and chilli salt, diners will be invited to select their preferred steak, and discuss with Chef Cormac how they would like it cooked. The steaks are then cooked to order on an open grill in front of the diners, before being served up with triple cooked chips, béarnaise sauce and a warm salad. Dessert and coffee will follow!
The ’28 by Aldi’ Restaurant and Terrace is open to Taste Festival goers who book with Aldi’s on-site Maitre’d. Availability is limited so make sure to book in advance! Diners are invited to share their favourite ’28 by Aldi’ moment via @aldi_ireland #28byAldi to be in with a chance to win a tasting menu for two at Mount Juliet.
