Waterford Is Where It’s At

This weekend Dungarvan will transform itself into a foodie wonderland of utter amazingness as the West Waterford Food Festival takes over. Supporting local producers, restaurants and retailers, it’s a shining example of how localities can boost their own economies by supporting each other. There’s loads to do, from demos to dining experiences from some of the region’s most fabulous restaurants, and there will be discussions on growing your own and getting the best from the food you cook from the country’s most prolific food writers. Families will be entertained throughout the weekend with a great selection of foodie trails and the brilliant Picnic In The Park, while Miriam Lambert from the Lambert Puppet Theatre will be showcasing Goldilocks & The Three Bears in Dungarvan Library.
