Introduction
Crunchy granola that can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container.
Ingredients
- 240ml honey
- 350g rolled oats
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 170g almonds, crushed
- 170g brazil nuts, crushed
- 80g sunflower or pumpkin seeds (or a mix of both)
- 80g mixed dried fruit
Method
- 1. Gently warm the honey in a pan.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
- 3. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.
- 4. Then add the warmed honey and mix all the ingredients together.
- 5. Pour the mixture onto a lined baking tray and spread it evenly. Pop into the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes ensuring to stir the mixture so the nuts do not burn.
- 6. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- 7. Serve with natural yoghurt it’s delicious.
