Homemade Granola

Crunchy granola that can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • 240ml honey
  • 350g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 170g almonds, crushed
  • 170g brazil nuts, crushed
  • 80g sunflower or pumpkin seeds (or a mix of both)
  • 80g mixed dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Gently warm the honey in a pan.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4.
  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Then add the warmed honey and mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Pour the mixture onto a lined baking tray and spread it evenly. Pop into the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes ensuring to stir the mixture so the nuts do not burn.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
  7. Serve with natural yoghurt it’s delicious.
