Introduction
Siúcra’s Moroccan chicken is succulent and delicious, and perfect for chasing away any January blues.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken fillets
- Marinade
- 150ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 50ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp Siúcra Rich Dark Brown sugar
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
- 2 tsp Ras Al Hanout spice blend
Method
- 1. For the marinade, mix the lemon juice, olive oil, brown sugar, ginger and spice seasoning together in a strong plastic bag. Add the chicken fillets and tie the bag closed. Shake and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- 2. Remove contents from plastic bag and grill until the meat is cooked through
- 3. Serve with a cucumber salad and tabbouleh.
