Introduction
This is a quick and easy dessert recipe which is perfect for kids birthday parties.
Ingredients
- 25g unsalted butter
- 300g good quality dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 150g digestive biscuits
- 120g marshmallows
- Icing sugar to dust (optional)
Method
- 1. In a saucepan melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup together. Once melted keep to one side to cool slightly.
- 2. Smash up the biscuits so they are small chunks. Then mix the biscuit and marshmallow through the chocolate mixture.
- 3. Spread out on lined square baking tray and leave in the fridge for 1 hour.
- 4. Remove and cut into to small squares and dust with icing sugar.
