Brekkie Banana Split

This is a quick and easy breakfast to prepare and you can change it up to suit your mood (or available goodies in the fridge!). Simply top a banana with some yoghurt, a sweetener of choice, nut butter, some crunchy muesli and a few berries, and you have a lovely balanced meal to start your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 2-3 dollops yoghurt of choice
  • Drizzle of honey (or choice of syrup, if required)
  • 2-3 tsp peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • 1-2 spoonfuls muesli or granola
  • Small handful berries

Instructions

  1. Cut the peeled banana lengthways to split it down the middle then place on your plate cut-side up.
  2. Top with yoghurt, a drizzle of honey and peanut butter, then finish with some muesli and berries.
