Introduction
This blushing lemonade is refreshing to drink and easy to make. Plump summer strawberries, lemon juice, sugar and your choice of still or sparkling water is all you need to make this delicious drink.
Ingredients
- 250g strawberries, washed & trimmed
- 75g caster sugar
- Juice from 4 large lemons
- 1 – 1½ litres still or sparkling water
Method
- 1. Combine strawberries and sugar in a food processor or blender then blitz until smooth. Optional, pass purée through a sieve to remove the strawberry seeds, if you prefer.
- 2. In a large jug, mix the strawberry purée and lemon juice then stir in 1 litre of water. Taste and add more water to taste.
- 3. Serve with plenty of ice.
